No this isn't another post about resolutions!  Not that big on resolutions, to be honest.

I think people should do things they want to do and not take away things in their life that give them joy.

This is what I try to do every day, which I guess could be something like a resolution.

  1. Focus on one thing every day and DO IT GREAT!
  2. Make sure I do one thing every day that I LOVE DOING!

If I can combine each of those into one event, then that would make for the most awesomeness day ever.  However, they usually are two separate events.

However, I did say this was not about resolutions, but it is about some of the challenges I see today for myself.  I will keep the list to three. Short and sweet :-)

My 3 Challenges

1.  What's Next For Evolving Solutions?

Like any entrepreneur, my business creates tremendous joy, but it also creates some challenges.

One of those challenges is finding the next offer that really makes a difference for our friends (customers) businesses.  We truly care about making a difference with our customers web presence and sometimes finding/figuring out the best offer for your customers can be challenging.

As you know the web moves fast and we want to be sure everyone we work with is getting the most from the web for their business.  Maybe this is not a new offer, but doing better at what we already do.

2011 was a banner year for us on the numbers side, however, we had to make some adjustments with my brother and partner Adrian taking on a less of a role in 2011.  This will continue in 2012, therefore, this will be where I spend most of my time early in 2012.

As you can see we are already in the process of moving forward and looking for your input.

2.  Continue to FOCUS on my health

I have always been a big fan of making sure I am at the top of my game with my health.

Your health is your wealth!

However, it is darn hard!  I try to exercise every morning from Monday to Friday and eat well.  I want to continue to do that, however as we all know, it can be tough.  So this will always be a challenge, unless someone comes up with a magic pill that covers both of these. :-)

3.  Read...More

The last year I tailed off a bit on my reading.  Therefore, I could feel the void missing in my learning.  I learn a ton from books and I think it is a great way for entrepreneurs to learn from others.

This challenge, like my focus on my health challenge will require me to get back into reading and make the time for it.

As Neville Medhora pointed out in a recent blog post...

The goal here is to become influence by GREAT people who have legitimately achieved GREAT things.  And here’s a way to get DIRECTLY INFLUENCED by some of the greatest humans in history.

Read.

So I am going to READ.  Reading Steve Jobs right now actually...well not right now, but you know what I mean. :-)
