I Now Have Clarity :-)

At least once a day someone asks me if they can pick my brain on something, either by phone or in person.

I am pretty sure you probably get this question a lot as well.

Which is great, because it lets us know that people value our opinions, however, for most of us, sometimes we have other  commitments that take a higher priority, therefore this request might get pushed out further then other items we are currently doing.

It's just a fact of life.

Catch 22

But, when I do have time to hop on the phone with someone or meet for a coffee I'm able to really help them out.

At least that is what they tell me. :-)

I can't help everyone because I'd have no money to buy food for my family.  And my 8 year old eats a lot!!!

But Wait!

My good friend, serial entrepreneur Dan Martell from Moncton is launching a company that can help with this exact problem.

It's called Clarity and he is launching it on January 5th, 2012.

Dan has one wish for his birthday this year.  He is asking every business owner, community leader and entrepreneur to donate one hour of their time - for free or for charity - to give 6 entrepreneurs 10 minutes of advice around their expertise or passion.

All calls are off the record, private (Clarity takes care of connecting both parties) and are filtered for quality.

This Is Awesome!

If you are like me and you believe in giving back, then this is a perfect way to unlock the power of knowledge and do some good at the same time.

So I'm gonna help 6 people who want some advice.  Whether it is about the web, social media, entrepreneurial advice, start-ups, 4 hour workweeks, hockey. :-)

Give me a call

It's a win-win-win.

  1. We get to connect.
  2. We both learn and you get advice you were looking for.
  3. We HELP people who need it!

Want To Donate Your Time?

Here’s how:

  1. Create an account
  2. Block out an hour in your calendar January 5
  3. On that day, promote your availability on Facebook / Twitter

As Dan points out...

"it’s only through advice from those who’ve been there before that we truly gain insight into the challenges we face as entrepreneurs."

Lets make it a date on January 5th!
